Trees are an integral part of the look and feel of the Radisson community.  Here are some helpful reminders regarding the tree removal process.  For specific information, please click for a Booklet about Trees in Radisson.

Approval is required before you remove a tree if  it is larger than 4 inches in diameter (12.5” in circumference), measured 2 feet above the ground. Approval is required even if the tree is dead.  If a tree is cut down without ASC approval, there is a fine of up to $250 for each tree removed without approval and you are required to replace the tree(s) with an 8’ tall tree.

The application and approval process for tree removal is quite simple:

      1) Submit the application.  You may use the Online Tree Removal Request or pickup an application in our office.  Either way, be sure to identify which tree(s) you would like approved for removal.

      2) Within 3-5 business day (sometimes even sooner), the ASC administrator will come to your property to review your application. You do not need to be present for the tree inspection.

      3) If approved for removal, the tree(s) will be marked with the date it was approved. If your tree was not approved, it will not be marked and you will receive a letter indicating why.
